A) Client Technician Provide front line support to customers across the Corporate and Education environments throughout the complete life cycle of end user computing. Provide second line support for the IT support desk and any associated escalations. Diagnose and resolve ICT user issues. The post holder will be part of the second line support desk and will participate in this role on a rota basis. Relevant Level 3 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales (CQFW). Degree in Information Technology or equivalent. Microsoft Certified System Engineer. PRINCE 2 Project Management. Current knowledge of trends and developments in the field of end user computing. Detailed knowledge of Microsoft desktop products. Office 365 and its components. Audio-visual, digital and multi- media technologies. B) Second Line Support Coordinator Ensure that the second line support team is resourced appropriately, developing rotas and liaising with managers where appropriate. Report on the performance of problem resolutions within Digital Services and identify areas for improvement. Administration of Digital Services contracts ensuring appropriate procurement processes are performed in a timely manner. Providing analytical information. Experience of dealing with enquiries / customer care. Working in a first or second line support function within information technology environment. Experience of working in an IT Help / Service Desk environment with a range of diverse and competing demands

DURATION 6 WEEKS INITIALLY
